Kent Wolfe to Retire After 37 Years with AGRIS!

AGRIS Co-operative announces that Kent Wolfe will be retiring on December 31, 2025, after 37 years of dedicated service.

Kent has been a constant presence for our farmer-owners, operating at the top level throughout his career. He has achieved many accolades over his 37 years, including the remarkable milestone of winning GROWMARK’s MARC of Excellence award 17 years in a row—a true testament to his commitment and excellence in his field.

“My father-in-law, Murray Beggs, hired Kent as a Crop Sales Specialist in the Dutton area at the start of his career, and it is an honor of mine to work alongside Kent and celebrate his career with AGRIS upon his departure at the end of 2025,” shared Nick Williamson, Director of Strategic Growth & Innovation.

Kent’s legacy at AGRIS is defined by his unwavering service to growers, staff and the community. Over the next three months, he will continue in his current role, helping mentor and lead us forward in ensuing a smooth transition. Kent is no stranger to the AGRIS family, and while he officially retires at the end of 2025, he will continue to offer his assistance and experience through the spring of 2026.

John Couwenberg CCA – ON 4Rnms – Senior Crop Sales Specialist

John is no stranger to the AGRIS team. Stepping into this next chapter, John brings 15 years of experience with AGRIS across sales and hub management roles, preparing him for his new role as Senior Crop Sales Specialist in Dutton. Currently serving as the Lambton, Elgin-Middlesex Hub Manager, John will be transitioning into this position while working alongside Kent Wolfe over the next few months.

John is eager to return to working directly with farmers, making a positive impact at the farm gate. We welcome John into this role and are confident in the expertise and dedication he will continue to bring to growers in the area.
